I love reading, because we are all living stories; they are part of us, of our DNA. I like especially the true and believable ones, based on the foundation of real events. I like to connect with the story, to see myself in it and to experience what the characters are experiencing - the love, maybe hatred, perhaps revenge, sadness, hunger, happiness, struggle, whatever it could be. Life is a story. Wherever I look I see stories moving about, waiting to be told, and I enjoy exploring all.

I have a passion for Africa, and for my country Zimbabwe, which has tremendous potential and a very bright future. I see myself in Gutu, or Murewa, or Mutoko, sitting on a huge boulder of granite, under the shade of a munhondo tree, birds churning out melodies right round me, gazing into the expanse of the forest and the meandering river, emptying into another, which empts into another, all the way to the sea. I see myself in the city, caught up in its busyness, criss-crossing its relatively straightforward corners, rolling on flowery gardens and hitchhiking kombis. I see myself living and loving, enjoying or enduring this gift of God called life. I like to make the most of it, and there is no better way of expressing this than to put it in black and white and sharing with fellow citizens of the world.

I will introduce you to my published novel, which I will share as I have all the rights to it, called The Generation That Never Laughed. I hope you will enjoy it.
