Hey so nice to see you again in my notifications. I hope you’re doing well. Thank you so much for your votes. Your support means so much. I just wanted to say after trying to make Lucas sound gen Z, I’ve given it up mid book so you’ll eventually see that tone down. When I’m done I’m going to go back and make it more consistent. I’d be interested to hear how you find it so far or when you finish. I’m open to suggestions for when I go back to edit it. ❤️❤️

This it just my third ever book and I’m still exploring what I like to write. I do also like reading mystery’s and thrillers and Carlos past sort of intrigued me. This was a very fun book to plot, but I’ve learned I don’t really like writing crime thrillers. After this I think I’ll go back to contemporary romance and finish writing Charlie’s love story. I’m also slowly working on getting Fate Interrupted ready to publish on Amazon etc mostly just so I can have a hard copy for myself.

@Bstarroyer hi. Sorry to hear you are dealing with health issues. I also studied abroad in the heart of London when I was 20, it was a great experience for me, I hope hers is as well. Gio really isn’t connected to the mafia. His dad’s family is very wealthy (Gio’s grandfather was the CEO of a bank, I’m thinking maybe he pulled some strings for Santino at some point but not really connected to him in anyway other than maybe some shady business dealings.) Carlo just found out about Santinos casino unfortunately while manic and made a big mistake. So to answer your question, the end of FI is the same. Carlo paid for the house Gio and Ren live in California in the epilogue and he splits his time between there and Italy.

I’m so happy you noticed! I have some health challenges which have slowed me down. The latest is CODP which is really hard. I’m almost 69 so I have to expect challenges. My only granddaughter is a gen Z and I must say that I have found it really hard communicating with her and don’t get me started with the cell phone and social media. She has always been a very good student without much effort. She graduated this year from high school and our local community college. She accepted an offer from UVA and will be starting in the fall. She applied for a special class in London for her first semester at UVA. Her first time outside the US will be to London. I think she will be attending Regent University in the heart of London. So it’s been a busy summer just trying to get her ready to leave. I noticed a difference in your writing for this book. I’ve always been a fan of Gio and Ren but this story just isn’t clicking for me as much. I think part of the issue is the missing introduction of Gio Italian Mafia family and the lack of connection prior to this point. I loved your ending to book 2 and I’m going look back and see if you changed it. Btw, I think the gen X believe the world needs to adapt to them! So I’ll leave Gen X to you to write about because I could not do it.
