Anyone out there who can help me develop a story idea?

This may or may not make the edit:
          "I cut as physical experimentation, if you will.
          I look at the results to see if my previous ones have changed.
          Mood is observed to examine whether, mentally, I have achieved to return to a state of homeostasis. 
          Dull, sad, and grey origin. 
          Origins like flowers which slip at my feet. 
          Soon it will change. Soon it will be in colours. Because everything, as I know, is falling to ashes.
