So I just got a message from a user called xfq298518691 and I read the message and her name is May and she said Author Liaison representative, representing W e b n o v e l. I was like cool but then she also said
"I've read the initial chapters and I feel that your novel showcases your capabilities as a writer thus, I would like to invite you to publish on our platform W e b n o v e l. We would like to offer a non-exclusive contract for your novels currently on the site, this way, you can keep the novel on the site but at the same time also help you tap on the large reader base of on our platform with over 60 million unique user views, making it a win-win situation." Then I was like okay... you gonna try and scam me now thanks why I thought she was going to scam me: Please feel free to reach out to me with regards to this, we want to understand your needs first and foremost as an author to help you reach the target market you want to hit
1. My book ain't no novel it's just a stoopid book with spooky thoughts(jk)
2. I don't have a "target market" I just mad the book for entertaining others because I like it when I was reading other people's books and they would be sort-of showing their expressions it made me happy to see the kind of stuff that made other people happy and I'm sure lots of other writer might have wanted the same thing or felt the same way I did :)
3. How is publishing a book on a different social media platform going to help me what's the point, it's like asking if you want hot chips or chips that are hot
4.if the contract is "non-exclusive" I won't own the story anymore they could just give it to someone else for MORE money( somthin lik that)
5. also person called HaloHeadGirl said that they got dm'd by the "bot"
I might be over reacting but I don't know weather I should delete this message they sent me or take it as an opportunity and actually contact them...
