I'm pretty sure I started Sugar Coated between middle school and high school, and now Im starting college already. I discontinued it because the passion regarding that work has now been long gone, and it would be unfair to people who like it if I gave them false hope for updating, when I have no plans to do so. Furthemore, I have switched to different fandoms approximately 2 years ago, and since then have been writing on AO3 under a different username (which I would prefer to not disclose), so even tho rarely, I am still writing. As my interests shifted so did my identity, my likes and dislikes, and as I grew a bit older, so did my target audience. After moving to AO3 I have noticed that tagging system is better, the works are better, and the overall community is better.
I guess this is a goodbye letter to Sugar Coated, my first love really. I'm finally ready to let go, and I hope everyone can let go as well. Much love, thank you so much for support, and who knows, maybe we've interracted on twitter or ao3. Let's go from strangers to friends once again.
