OMG. I really wished you’d continued the Yautja story. It was just getting really good. The plot was really intriguing and so easy to get immersed in the world you created and connect with the characters. I was liking how you were showing the individual personalities of each Yautja but was also super interested in the story behind the Katia (?) and her mates too. From the tid-bits they shared during dinner, it seems the story behind their meeting and her becoming a warrior and mate would have been really interesting to read too.
I know you wrote that you lost interest but if inspiration and motivation strike again, you should definitely consider continuing the story. I really was enjoying it very much.

Hey, no rush. Some of us just totally suck at creative writing (learnt at early years of school that it was DEFINITELY not one of my talents which teachers confirmed, heehee), so with such poor imagination and daydreaming skills, I leave it to experts to write creative fantasy works that allow escape from drudgery of reality. Also the cover truely is eye catching with its simplicity, popping colour and design elements. The shadow shapes are super easy to identify (even for me that not well versed in AVP. The only suggestion for improvement might be if you can rotate it so figures are standing vertical (but I’m guessing they may have something to do with images parameters fitting into certain space size?).
But truthfully, I know they say don’t judge a book by its cover but humans attention is naturally attracted to visual things, especially if aesthetically pleasing, we find beautiful, unusual or intriguing. And for a book, it’s cover is the initial draw card for a readers attention. It’s the cover that catches the eye and draws initial interest, so it affects whether it’s visual elements are attractive enough for a reader to want to stop and check out your book as apposed to the next one. The second would be the Title that gives hints also about the plot/storyline and is is like a sample taste on whether any interest is gained. And the final element that determines a readers interest is The Synopsis which basically ‘seals the deal’ for how interesting the plot/storyline seems to be interest wise and whether it’s worth our time to read - the difference between ‘Nope’, ‘Maybe, if nothing else grabs my attention’ and ‘Wow, piqued my interest and super intrigued, want to read NOW!’ - if that makes sense. But well done on your art work. You definitely have a talent for that to.
