I said somewhere that I didn't want to change any of the ships that were plot-important and coinpin WAS kinda plot-important but aughghghaghgh. bookpin silly :((
also I'm trying to include the canon conflict between Pin and Coiny in earlier tpot so even if I do keep coinpin it wouldn't be in the first book this time. which makes it harder.

why are there still people that think II season 3 takes place after season 2. guys.
@YummyArepas I DON'T KNOW I've seen like 4 people already get confused about the finale of II2 because "how is season 3 supposed to happen now" IT ALREADY HAPPENED. HOW DO THEY NOT GET IT???

another of my friends (not one of the two that's watching II already, the one that I rambled to and who probably knows more about the show than either one of them) decided to watch THE LITERAL FINALE for the funnies and they didn't understand a single thing that was going on lol. they did call the popcorn thing when I was talking to them about how worried I was for the finale (their exact words were "don't worry, everyone's gonna come back alive, turn the corn guy into popcorn, and live happily ever after") though so it was funny to see them react to that.
bright side!! they said they might eventually watch the whole show!!!!! I don't know when they'd ever get around to it though.

out of all the ships it makes a LOT of sense for it to be payjay, though.
they were pretty much canon already. I'm pretty sure people on the crew have discussed wanting to make them canon in the past so like. yippee for them.

Idk if I've said this yet but I'm not gonna be SUPER strict about the humans thing. I already wasn't really really strict about it before (like I had the robot characters obviously but tECHNICALLY none of them were Human and they all had nonhuman quirks that I for some reason decided to just Not Mention???) but I'm gonna get sillier with it.
Keeping them as human as possible though. I'm only doing this when it makes more sense to give them the nonhuman traits.
Like Black Hole. Genuinely most of his character doesn't make sense if he's not. A black hole. But c'mon I can't just make him a floating circle. So I am being silly and doing something else :3
OH YEAH the "none of them were human" thing
it was literally a one-off throwaway line from Bubble or Ruby at the beginning of the original YCH that they're all non-human but it was canon the entire time. I only called it a humanized au to make things easier LKDFJKSHDF. They were Technically from a completely different planet but the species just looked almost identical to humans.
It was the reason why I wasn't afraid to make them all have weird eye colors and stuff. A lot of their hair colors were originally gonna be natural before I decided against it. It was also my explanation for the object names (it was part of my original object lore where the humanized forms were just living objects but evolved a Lot to the point that they almost looked human)
I don't. Think I'm keeping the alien thing. But I can just as easily explain it with "bfdi universe logic"
Because there's a living black hole in BFDI I can make there be a living black hole in YCH.
