I woke up looked into the next room and I saw a red light and heard electricity crackling. I thought I was dreaming. Then our little Chihuahua Jack Russel mix started barking. I got out of bed looked around and the room nothing was on put I smelled something burnt. I   went and got my mom up. Turns out it was an extension cord that had come loose in the plug socket. Had not been for the dog I would have rolled over and went back to bed and more than a small patch of carpet would have been burnt. Crazy right? Thank God for that sometimes annoying paranoid dog. 

Working on a new Harry Potter fanfic. Postwar about the 4th years during the war coping with the house unity projects
