-Atonement (Ian McEwan's characterisation of some of the characters and the way he tells both sides of the story is great)
-Philippa Gregory novels in general (Historical fiction at it's best)
-Flowers for Algernon (when we studied it in class, it was boring but the way the author evolves the diary style writing is interesting)
