Something strange has been happening. My book views have been surging suddenly (originally 1.4k, over the course of 2 days it went to 1.5k then after 1 day it went to 1.6k) and an unnatural rise of followers (example: 10 followers in 1 minute). Like I had 333, suddenly it became 344, and there was no notice of this in the notification area.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm really really grateful for this and I appreciate every single one of you. Though you guys must admit that this is kinda odd. Anyone else experiencing something similar? Do let me know ovo

Would y'all say that fanfictions are easy or hard to write?
Cuz I feel that it should be easy, what with the characters and basic idea laid out for you to begin with...
...But at the same time it's hard coming up with a plot that doesn't already exist, as there's only so many directions a fanfic can go if it wants to relate to the original plot. Does that make sense :')
@BuffyReads_08 I've written a few one-shots dedicated to the fandoms I'm in, but full-fledged fics? I'm. . . kind of working on it XD as for advice, I can only think of two, regarding characters: firstly, try not to make them OOC! beginner writers sometimes make this mistake where the characters wayyyy differently than the should. you can analyze how characters act w a guide from canon. of course, there are exceptions, like when writing an au fic. my second advice is that if you lack info on certain characters, don't be afraid to expand more on their hobbies, likes, dislikes, personalities, and et cetera via headcanons :D. it helps the process and it doesn't make the character seem "bland or flat", especially if the creator hasn't shared much info on them. these are the only pieces of advice I could think from the top of my head XD. hope this helped!
