I noticed you added @SerenityHeat stories to your reading list, and I just wanted to tell you to prepare yourself emotionally and have tissue available, if you have not read them already! She's literally my favorite author, and her stories are true to life in all the damaged, mistreated, and horrible things in the real world, but I think you'll love them!

@Bulbawi Well, I'm glad you liked it! I don't quite remember what Storm was about, it's been a while since I read it, I think I'll read it again!

@Jillybean61085 So I just finished Storm and Sanctuary
I really enjoyed Sanctuary, but I absolutely loved Storm. It had so much more going on, and that made it way more engaging for me.

            Hii!

I totally understand that problem. Up until now, I usually started with a specific scene I really wanted to write and then worked backward, figuring out how my characters would eventually get there. Most of the time, ideas would come to me while writing, and I would try to integrate them into the story as I went. Unfortunately, that approach doesn’t always work.

I currently have a story in progress that I really, really love, one I don’t want to give up on. I know where I want the story to go, but I’m still unsure how to get there. It has been on hold since August 2025. I do have an idea for how to move forward, but it would require rewriting a lot of already-written chapters, which is honestly a lot to take on and requires motivation I just don’t have right now.

I approached another story I’m currently working on very differently, though. Before I actually started writing, I created “Chapter Notes,” which gave me a solid foundation for the story. While writing, things can still be added or changed along the way, but overall, I have a clear structure, and so far, I’m really enjoying this approach.

When I’m really stuck though, I think about what I personally would or wouldn’t do in that situation, or I look for inspiration in other books, TV shows, or movies.

I hope this helps you a little.
Don’t give up, sometimes stories just need a little time to find their way.
