@eponyMouse No problem. Thanks for sharing your writing!
There's a lot going on around me at the moment, so I've been reading a bit sporadically, but I'll definitely come back and check out more of your work. You write beautifully.

Hi Holly! :-)

@BurntWords I know the feeling!! Not even there yet but I'm so so excited :D

Haha, I was thinking more along the lines of George Orwell... :P I'll figure out eventually what to post. A bit overwhelmed at the moment by the sheer number of posts and all, but everything I've read looks like fun. :)

@raindrop Whoa, MIT? Are you applying there? Good luck... I totally wasn't smart enough for MIT. xD If I'd tried a bit harder I'd have maybe possibly thrown my name in the hat for Yale and probably not got in. Also I love Kenyon College... sigh. There are so many good places to do learning. I think I might go to university twice.

Yeah, fanfic is a thing I'm sure. Not that I know which board it should go on. Probably New Writing? I don't tend to read fanfic myself purely because I'm a weirdo and don't really 'fan' things, but I know there are others on BSW who do. And there's a fanfic RPG board where people do group stories (I think the current one is Harry Potter), so maybe it would be better over there. Yah, I've been away for a while, but it looks like people are mainly hanging out on the New Writing board atm.

@BurntWords :D Oh, wow, for some reason I thought you were already out of uni! Thanks :) My dream school is MIT (haha) mostly because I'm obsessed with the MIT bloggers and tech journals (and my mom tells me a lot about the school, and everything sounds really awesome). Beyond that, I'm looking at some smaller liberal arts colleges on the east/west coasts.

Can I post fanfiction?? Is that a thing? Haha. I'm just tiptoeing around the forums for now, seeing how things work. :)

I think I should tell you that you are very high up there on my choices for beta readers! Your input has been spot on and I'll make sure you see it. TCP may reappear very briefly, but for now it's gone. I just got really spooked by my other story. I'll keep you posted.

Hi,
In response to your query Voice 1 is the wife and primary carer of Voice2. It is based on my Mother, and the current situation she is in, this happens most days, I have witnessed it. I agree with your point about sobbing , I did intend to imply quiet uncontrollable sobbing, I will re-edit to make that clearer

@Scout_Finch No problem. :) Thank you for sharing your awesome writing!
Yeah, word limits are good sometimes. When I start something new, I like challenging myself to finish in a certain number of words. It really forces me to think about what I'm saying, and choose just the right way to say it.

And it's interesting that you prefer The Power of Something. Maybe I'll give it another go.

Scout_Finch

Woah, and thanks so much again for The Power of Something. I'm surprised you liked Milo so much better. 256 Pages was for a short story assignment in class so there was a word limit and all that jazz. I found myself limiting my ideas and when I read them both I see The Power of Something as the stronger piece. It's really nice to have another perspective on this!
