'When you win, say nothing. When you lose, say less', Paul Brown said it right.
Having won the YOUR STORY INDIA contest, I feel no inclination to say anything. Just Nothing? I wonder Why but that's what I feel. But there's something I need to take out of my system and pour down here. I hope to ramble less and talk more.
Here, through this platform I'd like to express my gratitude for the tremendous support I received from the people I never expected.
@Seema_ahmad, a wonderful person and a writer from Canada, @ZoeySaidNot and @RubabAsif, the very talented Pakistani writers, @The_dam_gymnast, @Totga2816 the beautiful and creative English girls , @Aore the dear friend from South Africa and @Craftergirl888....these wonderful people not only blessed THE NAKED SCARS with their precious Votes and Comments of appreciation but did the shout outs too in their books and message boards, something I had never expected and that had me overwhelmed for an odd length of time.
@ToshiiOniChan, a true friend who has been sticking by my side and supporting me from the very first day we met.
And How often you get to meet the genuine people like @MidnightDarkened who are always willing to share their experience, knowledge and insights and improve your life in many ways? She is that once in a lifetime kind of woman who will always stick by my side not only to appraise my work but to make me aware of all the loop holes and mistakes.
I'm blessed to have met these people. The bottom line is that I really appreciate the efforts you'll had put to help me during the time I needed utmost support.
Lastly, I would like to thank YSI team and Wattpad HQ for organizing an amazing contest. The contest was a rewarding experience and the most fruitful investment in time I've ever made.
Thank you so much!
Love,
Bushra Rahmani.
