Hi, um i was wondering, is your Pokémon story takes place in the Game universe, Anime universe or the Manga universe?

Another question, will the characters like Ryan and Ash and the others age as the anime go? Cause by the end of Ash's journey the anime said he still 10 but in 1 special episode about the casts pokémon during either Kanto or Johto region Ash decided to throw a party for the 1 year anniversary of their meeting
