             sapnap kicked his feet up onto the  dresser in front of him , reclining back in the seat he was in with his hands behind his head . they were supposed to be getting ready for their performance , but sapnap thought he looked fine , so he was just chilling . he looked over his shoulder at george , smiling at him until he saw a small shiver wrack the other's body . " you cold ? " he asked , immediately sitting up to take off his leather jacket and hand it to the brunette .

          dream clenched his jaw as he stared at his phone . nerves clawed at his gut and anxiousness crawled along his skin , making goosebumps rise . he and georhe had been dating long distance for a while , but honestly , it stressed dream out . he felt like he never knew how george was truly feeling , and it scared him . so he was here , staring at the dark screen of his phone , and trying to figure out how to tell george he wanted to end it . that was until he was cut short , receiving a call from the one he slightly dreaded talking to .

            George kept going to the airline website and looking at the cancel ticket button. He was tempted to cancel it, go another time. He ended up falling asleep scrolling through old conversations with Dream.

            " um . . yeah . bye , george . " he spared himself any words of apology for his tiny breakdown , anything that might have made george just as scared as he was . he wanted to see george , of course he did , but would it be awkward ? surely he could just forget about this , trick himself into thinking the brunette still loved him and that they were still dating . but george had said he loved him , and they hadn't even broken up , so why was he telling himself the opposite ? he wished he could shut up his own brain sometimes .

            George was a little worried himself, what if Dream didn't want to see him anymore? Like, at all. At least not so soon. Maybe he should reschedule the flight. He looked at the suitcases by his room door. His flight left at five in the morning. It was getting kind of late, he should go to sleep. "I gotta go, I'll talk to you..later?"

          the god stared at george , its cracked mask always a smile , but its body language giving off signs of anger . one of its glowing halos that usually hung around its head was crooked and broken , and george had done it . it didn't know how the human had managed it , but it stood up from where it was crouched next to the brunette , its six hands clenched into fists .

            it moved one of his hands to point at the halo , its shoulders rigid . it didn't speak , and it would rather choose not to at most time , but it was odd . usually itd say a few words at least , but now it was completely silent , besides the unintelligible noises it was making .

" hi , " he said , voice unusually airy when he spoke , his eyes full of fondness for the brunette as they scanned over what he could see of his face from this angle . his posture relaxed slightly as he leaned into george , it feeling nice to have him in his arms after a long day .
