How did the relationship between the Soviet Union and the United States become so strained that such a large battle - the Cold War - began? The Cold War was one of the biggest global conflicts in history, comprised of smaller proxy wars between the two global superpowers. It was the indirect fight between two ideologies: communism and capitalism; and lasted 44 years, with casualties in the millions. The Cold War began due to tensions between the U.S. and the USSR, was a time of intense competition, and ended soon after Mikhail S. Gorbachev came to power, leaving behind many various technologies people still use in modern times.

          Just thought I’d better address recent happenings in the mcyt fandom. (Even though I’m much more active in the Hermitcraft-empires-pirates side of the fandom.)
          
          Just so that I’m very clear on where I stand. 
          
          I do not support Wilbur Soot. His actions were, in a word, disgusting. His “apology” did not address half the things he did. He was not “accused” of doing these things. He DID these things.
          
          He abused Shelby. And she is so f*cking strong for coming out about it.
          
          He did not even use her name. 
          
          If you want an alternative streamer, James Marriot and OwengejuiceTV, for instance, are two much less problematic streamers that still run in some of the same circles and friendship groups as Wilbur used to. There is no excuse to still support his content. There are other musicians, other streamers, other places you can go for similar content, if you are really that fucking desperate.
          
          If you support him in the slightest, you are not welcome here. Please do not interact with any of my content.
          
          Sorry if this was a bit all over the place. 
          
          I know that I am just a fanfiction writer who barely writes enough to be classified as such, but I still wanted to make this clear.
          
          (If I happen to have gotten anything wrong with this, please let me know. My dms are fully open and welcome. I want to be educated on this subject. I don’t want to inadvertently cause harm. <3)

Hi! I absolutely LOVE "The Void's Song", it's been one of my absolute favorite fics for many months now (almost a year wow). I'm not sure if you remember Permadeath, but it's going through a heavy rewrite and I was wondering if I could use the headcannon from The Void's Song that the Watchers are trying to get into the servers which is why they change servers every couple months?
