Hello!  Yes, my aim is to continue and finish F&C.  Unfortunately this past year has been particularly difficult with a lot of stressful situations coming at me at once and leaving me with very little time or inclination to write.  However, once the dust finally settles I shall come back to this story.  I cannot say when that will be, but it will be continued at some point.  Thank you for reading what you there is of it though - it is heartening to know that you enjoyed it.

Hi Sarah I just finished reading fate and circumstance I really enjoyed it,  hopefully you will post another chapter soon 
          But  I have a question I'm sure I read this story before except it had more chapters? One in which Higgins goes to find out what happened and finds the young woman that was assaulted?

So, I'm looking for a particular N&S fanfic and I wondered if you might know it. Its a slightly AU timeline, where I believe Margaret actually slaps Stevens for smoking in the carding room -- because she's griefstricken from the last fire where she saw all the children injured ...? At least I think it's Margaret. It may have been an OC, but I'm pretty sure it must've been Margaret because I am a J/M shipper all the way. Does it ring any bells?

Hi!! I love your works. I originally read them at c19 and was thrilled to find them here!  I know life can be difficult, so I (& I'm sure others) will patiently wait for the continuation when you are able.  Your writing is just uncannily similar to what I picture Gaskell's to be its superb!
