I’ve been keeping up with Absolute Batman recently.
I think this is the first time in the entirety of Batman’s existence where every fan collectively agrees that NO ONE would blame Bruce if he hung up the cowl.
As much as I love the guy, losing a fight to Izuku gotta be demoralizing as hell.
Like, imagine you’re a villain with an overall pretty powerful Quirk, expecting someone like Hawks or Endeavor to come and stop you.
But against all odds, the guy coming to fight you is a 5’5 broccoli-haired DORK whose name loosely translates to “Defenseless” literally kicking your ass talking ‘bout some “Wisconsin Smash!”
Like, damn—Wisconsin? I’m not even worth California for you? Well damn fuck you too I guess.
@Kaze-san2009 Speaking of attacks... have you checked Toshinori and Izuku's wikis? Because there are fics where they launch an attack only for it not to be said attack. An example would be in fanfi All Might saying "Nebraska SMASH" and just giving a super strong slap... only for canon to deny that saying that "Nebraska SMASH" is a punch spinning the fist at such speed that it creates a tornado.
@TheTrueNadir Yeah. But the keywords are “when you’re fighting him”. That mf is a DEMON whenever he has throw hands. But then you wake up in the ICU, with who knows how many broken ribs and a concussion, watching the news and seeing the same kid who sent you through 6 walls by round-house kicking you with his iron-covered boots stuttering and blushing like a dweeb because he’s not used to cameras in his face. At that point you HAVE to quit as a Villain. Like—whatever criminal career you had before is DONE.

So…I know it’s been a while. That’s on me. I just wanted to leave this little message to tell you guys that I am, in fact, alive and that I’m almost done writing the fourth chapter. Sorry that you guys have been waiting 3 months for it, but without getting into too much detail I can only tell you that personal life was kicking my ass
Between final exams, getting sick, and dealing with some good ol’ writer’s block, writing this fourth chapter has been a bit of a challenge. Nevertheless, give me a day or two and I’m finally gonna continue the story.
Anyways, unrelated, but I just wanted to say that the Superman movie was peak, and I feel so bad for Izuku still getting slandered despite winning death battle. My Goat just can’t catch a break (the street-tier jokes are funny af tho✌️).
