40-something woman finally finding her purpose.

.....That's what I want to write.  But I'm so much more than that sentence.  I am wife, mother, friend, avid reader, lover of goth music, history geek, and passionate about animals...and gardening...and crafting...and crocheting...and jewelry making...and baking...and cooking.

....I think that's about it.

Wait...I love studying about herbal medicine.  And trying to remodel my home.

How my novel came to be...

It was a dark and stormy night almost ten years ago...
Ha!  How cliche!  Nope, it wasn't.  It was drive from Orlando to Indiana when this idea crawled into my head.  And for a few years I was able to keep in locked up safely in my head until the headaches started, then the lost time...LOL.  No, nothing that dramatic.  It just came time to make the decision of writing this idea down.  I started making notes here and there.  Writing down a rough outline, making up character names and backstories.  But the real inspiration came through music.  Every chapter is a song title and helps to set the mood.  
The story grew from one book to now five.  I've stopped there because the voices in my head told me to and they don't like it when I won't listen.  Really.  That's the truth!  LOL
