far-right protests in the UK, what a shocker.
          
          i hate it here, how can PEOPLE be illegal?! 

shout out to the loser(s) who reported my post about the school shooting victims and got it taken down. 
          
          to reiterate the points in a very simple manner:
          
          do i care that kirk is dead? no.
          
          do i care about gun violence/political violence? yes, both are bad and need to be reformed IMMEDIATELY.
          
          do i think that maybe, we should focus on the shooting in Colorado and its victims (which to my knowledge two children were injured, one still hospitalised with critical injuries)? yes, because school shootings were perpetuated by men like kirk— lets remember that he was quoted in saying that it was okay if there were a few deaths as long as the right to bare arms continued.
          
          who do i empathise with? kirks children, the innocent people in the crowd who had to watch the violence occur, and the children of Evergreen Colorado. not kirks wife, let’s remember that this woman chose a bigot to stand by.
          
          do i think this should all be actively ‘celebrated’? no. because this will all have repercussions— kirk WILL be made into a martyr, and what occurred is only evidence of fascism rising evermore in the west. the left is already being blamed despite the shooter remaining unknown, and know that if the shooter IS a member of a minority community, the far-right will target those people even more, and somehow, this world will become even more unsafe.
          
          and this isn’t an isolated issue for the US, this WILL effect the rest of the world— i’m from the UK and the steady trickle of harmful ideologies rising in the US is creeping here; we’ve already seen violence rising here, crime rates increasing, racism being as rampant and blatant as it was in the 00’s. Britain is following closely in the US’ footsteps, so yes, i do think it’s down to us all to speak out, because inevitably, this will effect everyone.
