Hey Guys, I finally got another chapter of Austerlitz out! I will hopefully be picking up the pace on writing soon so expect more, as usual please tell me what you think!
@TrishDecidesToWrite Well there are many different gods so it's best to choose perhaps a god per family as each family would have a favoured god, rich people would have small shrines in tenor homes which they would pray at ofte, they may make offerings or burn incense
@CGreen I'm maily interested with the patricians and the richer portion of the plebeians. For the worshipping, I'm interested in the major gods, like Jupiter. (I'm good with Greek gods but horrible with Roman gods)
@TrishDecidesToWrite To be honest it all depends on who and what the person was it's the same with worshipping as well, a little more information and I could give you some advice :)
Hello! I see you're interested in ancient Rome. Is there anything you could tell me about daily life at that time and/or the worship of the gods? It's for my book, Death in a Paradox, which isn't set in ancient Rome but is highly influenced by it.
@akkadiaiswonderful Yeah! But I must admit I prefer Livy despite the inaccuracies in his writing, I think he just manages to tell a better story and the other Roman historians, that and the fact he writes about my favourite periods
