joe blinked . he looked around the edges of the screen curiously , before catching a glimpse of his best friend , sara chidouin standing before him . she looked .. scared . he didn’t know why , but he was still happy to see her . ❝ sara ? ❞

( @J03T4ZUN4 ) sara nodded , allowing herself to smile a little bit . she giggled , remembering how much the two used to laugh together . “ y - yeah . i miss that . ” she wiped a few of the tears from her face , despite some of them coming back . though , these were more of happy tears .

kai was sitting in sara's room , brushing out her hair . it was around noon , and he had wanted to help her get ready for an outing . it wasn't a normal thing for him , but he was pretty good with hair and makeup . since he'd been taking care of sara in place of her mother for a while , it was only natural , he assumed . " miss sara , may i ask you something ? it will only take a moment . "

( @house-husband_- ) sara raised an eyebrow at the question , not sure whether to be shocked or sad . she knew kai didn’t go out a lot , but / never / with friends ? the orange - haired girl stumbled to come up with an answer . “ umm . . . well , if you have the right friends , it’s usually very fun . by the end of it , my sides are usually hurting from all of the laughing we’ve done . ” she smiled . “ but it’s not really something i can explain , i think it’s better to experience it yourself instead . ” sara then had an idea . “ hey , kai , do you want to go out somewhere with me ? like as friends ! ” the high - schooler offered . “ i don’t mind canceling what i have planned now , the other two supposed to go are very understanding . ”

@CHIDOUINSS he smiled sadly , tilting his head before speaking . " what is it like to go out with friends ? i haven't ever done so , and i want to know , if it's not too bothersome . " kai spoke softly , almost as if he were afraid of asking such a question out of the blue . he began to braid part of the girl's hair , waiting for her response .

sleepover ! the two girls were having a sleepover and doing normal sleepover things like watching a movie , doing their nails , etc . currently , they were just talking; it was a simple discussion about school and their lives . as the two girls talked , nao noticed how soft sara ' s hair looked . " h - hey sara ? can i . . . braid your hair ? " the artists asked hesitantly , afraid she ' d be told no .

he wasn't sure if this was one of the monochrome bear's motives, but what he *is* sure of is that the location he's in right now... is not hope's peak academy whatsoever. the luckster explored with peaked curiousity brimming inside him as the boy tries to examine every nook and cranny inside the unidentifiable location, but even so, it seems like it was all in vain.
moments later, he found a orange-haired lady with a traditional japanese school uniform. its not the same uniforms we have in hope's peak academy, he though. the male brunette didn't recognize her in the slightest and decides to show himself in front of her.
