I've always loved reading since I was a kid. I never thought I could write because of how I was taught you were supposed to write a story. But my brain doesn't work as structured as that.
It wasn't until I read Stephen King's book, On Writing. After trying his suggestions I was soon writing over a thousand words a day at times. I suggest everyone should read it. It changed my life.
So a year and a half later I had a full blown novel. I'm publishing parts of it here to see what you amazing readers think. I am still working on the first draft so be kind.
It was very strange during the writing process as the book soon took a life of it's own. Honestly, for most of the time I had no idea at all what was going to happen until my fingers typed it.
I have the entire novel finished, but had to split it into two parts because it was too large for a first time author.
I have finally found a good friend of mine whom I did not even know did Editing work who has kindly offered her assistance and with her help I've uploaded a newly edited version of book one. I hope you like it and let me know if there are any errors we missed. Thank you Liz! :) @EJNellis
The first book is kind of a mix of Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Sliders, Ann Rice and a little Stephen King. I guess now you could say there's a bit of Stranger things in it too lol.
I'm working on the next book in the series which will be set in a Steampunk world.

Well I'm not sure why my naughty stories are gone but I'm trying to find out why that one was removed. No warnings or messages or anything so who knows.View all Conversations
