"Waiting on a hurricane is like being stalked by a turtle." Not sure who said it first, but it's accurate. We're outside of the eye path, thankfully, but on the "bad side." (Like there's a "good side" of a Cat 4 hurricane.) Thankfully Marco fizzled, and we only got a few pop-up showers. Please pray for southeastern and south-central Louisiana. It's been 15 years since we were hit with a storm of this magnitude (Hurricane Rita, a Cat 5 that hit a couple of weeks after Katrina.) They're calling this an "unsurvivable storm" for those on the coast. Please, please, please, my Louisiana and Texas coastal people, get out now while you can.
Some of you noticed "T-Rouge" went down and a chick-lit story "52 Wishes" went up. I decided not to enter the contest, but might complete "T-Rouge" later. "52 Wishes" has been playing on my mind these last couple of weeks. I hope you enjoy. I'll probably be updating "The Loup Garou's Ball" on Saturdays and "52 Wishes" on Sunday, if all goes well.
Anyway, I'm signing off to do some last minute outside stuff. Stay safe and God bless.
