"Waiting on a hurricane is like being stalked by a turtle." Not sure who said it first, but it's accurate. We're outside of the eye path, thankfully, but on the "bad side." (Like there's a "good side" of a Cat 4 hurricane.) Thankfully Marco fizzled, and we only got a few pop-up showers. Please pray for southeastern and south-central Louisiana. It's been 15 years since we were hit with a storm of this magnitude (Hurricane Rita, a Cat 5 that hit a couple of weeks after Katrina.) They're calling this an "unsurvivable storm" for those on the coast. Please, please, please, my Louisiana and Texas coastal people, get out now while you can.
Some of you noticed "T-Rouge" went down and a chick-lit story "52 Wishes" went up. I decided not to enter the contest, but might complete "T-Rouge" later. "52 Wishes" has been playing on my mind these last couple of weeks. I hope you enjoy. I'll probably be updating "The Loup Garou's Ball" on Saturdays and "52 Wishes" on Sunday, if all goes well.
Anyway, I'm signing off to do some last minute outside stuff. Stay safe and God bless.

@CKArceneauxLeger I'm glad you're doing alright currently. I've been watching the news and the storm looked pretty scary. I hope all your cousins are able to recover quickly. That sounds devastating for their entire community.

@AndiJ37 thanks so much for donating! My immediate family and I are fine, which is a miracle because this storm was a monster. Our roof sustained a little damage, but nothing major, thank God! Yesterday, I had to get out to check on some things at school, which is a half hour drive from my house, and I only saw about 10 trees down, which is less than you'll see with a typical tropical storm. I have cousins in Lake Charles, Moss Bluff, and DeQuincy that aren't so lucky, though. They're saying essentially every home and business was destroyed. As of yesterday, we were still getting rain bands even though the storm is over Tennessee, which isn't helping anyone. Thanks again for donating! The Cajun Navy are an amazing group of volunteers. They're absolutely the best at what they do.

@CKArceneauxLeger How are things where you are today? Thanks for the link! It's difficult to know sometimes where it’s best to send donations. I'll definitely donate. I hope things are still going well for you.

I'm sitting here, listening to the news about the 2 hurricanes that will be passing right over my house this week. If you guys don't hear from me in a bit, just know I'm probably without power.

@CKArceneauxLeger we'll definitely do our best. Thank God, the one that's coming in tomorrow got downgraded to a tropical storm. Laura, though, is strengthening and is supposed to pass over us. In the end, the thing I'm most scared of is a week without AC, though.

I just got new artwork for "Dancing and Death" in TWW. Check it out and tell me what you think! If you love the artwork, consider checking out my illustrator's Deviantart page. He's amazing to work with! https://www.deviantart.com/kurakaminari

TWW is complete. Now, the question de jour: Do I edit and post the next book or finish either Rain or The Loup Garou's Ball? What do you want to read next?
