Hey everyone!
I’m super excited to share some updates with you all! My newest book, Eyes Closed, Worlds Open, is officially in the works. I know I tend to start a lot of stories and sometimes don’t finish them like Wide Awake or My Enemy, My Love…(I might bring some of those back later.) But this standalone collection of short stories is different because I can post anytime I have a new idea. Each chapter is a little self contained story, and I’ve already written one called The WheatField Knight. It’s fantasy inspired, a bit whimsical, and honestly, it makes me laugh! I think you’ll love it too.
As for Your Freckles, My Past, I really wanted to work on it, and the cover is absolutely beautiful, but I’ve hit a bit of a roadblock with where I want the story to go. So, I’m going to put it on pause for now while I figure out how to make it even better before publishing again. I love the story, it’s very exciting, dealing with godly figures, past lives, and reincarnation themes, so I promise it’s worth the wait.
I also plan to go back and edit my other works, A Princess and a Commoner: Star crossed Lovers, Dangerous Affection, and The Villainess’s Second Chance: A Dance with Fate, to fix punctuation, grammar, and a bit of rambling here and there. Some of my older works, like Dangerous Affection, were experiments in modern settings compared to my usual fantasy vibes, so it’s going to be a fun process to refine them.
I can’t thank you enough for all the support, the love for The Villainess’s Second Chance has been amazing, and seeing my stories do well in the rankings really motivates me. Thank you for sticking with me, reading my stories, and enjoying these little worlds I’ve imagined.
Thank you all again! Signing off,
CLOVERYLA
