On September 1st, Beginning is being pulled off. Thanks to your feedback and encouragement, The Beginning will be turned into a full length novel due out mid-fall. I will let you know ahead of time and I won't forget that you all helped me pull this story together.

That said, I do publish non-fiction under my legal name. It just feels right to do so. The non-fiction is more business oriented and it feels more like a job. Using my birth name for fiction is more a case of me sharing the inner core of who I was born to be. If that makes any kind of sense.

I have two reasons for using Roth. I was born with that name. I'm only an Englehaupt by marriage. Also, I have never yet said my last name without immediately having to spell it. I'd rather use my birth name. Easier to remember and easier to spell. And it's who I identify with most closely. But I do appreciate your point.
