Songwriter. Record Producer. Sang in bands in Brooklyn bars like The Half Inn; The Dew Drop Inn; The Golden Gondola. 6 sets a night singing cover songs, 40 minutes on, 20 minutes off. Moved to Manhattan where I sang original songs and played only one show a night. Thought it doesn't get better than this. Then the years went by, the money was tight and I saw no end in sight. Thought there's got to be something better than this. Got a record deal that ended with me working the graveyard shift as a proofreader for law firms. Wrote a song called "Living In America" for James Brown. It doesn't get better than that.
