This account is inactive. It was a great test to try out a dedicated Christian Wattpad account, but I, @MasterHand4444 , am not the right person to manage it. I am thinking about what Christian content to migrate or create for my personal account, and suggestions are welcome. Thank you for supporting COG!

Coming to COG this year:

          Game content reviews! A tool you can use to assess if a game is appropriate or not! Quite useful for parents!

          Soapbox! The COG admins and maybe even the readers sometimes share their thoughts and opinions deeply rooted in Christianity!

          Stay tuned! More info in COG Updates book.

          God bless!

Douggrey

Quick question
          Is it OK for a Christian to read non- christian based books such as mythical , and still have a strong relationship with God

COG_Ministries

@CaelestialisAnglice No, it doesn't offend me, but it may offend the original question asker.

            It all comes down to conviction. If @Douggrey finds that his relationship with God wavers because he read a book like, what's an example of "fantasy," Harry Potter or the Hunger Games, he should get it out of his life. If not, it's okay.

            I've already handled the question, and I've handled it with a very Christian, Biblical answer. Although I appreciate your concern with the asker's faith, please back off before this account blocks you.

@CaelestialisAnglice Woah, there, pardner.

            Calm yourself.

            Yes, it is important and very Biblical not to live ge the things of this world more than God, but like I said up top, as long as it doesn't become an idol in one's life, and as long as the entertainment you enjoy doesn't offend God or cause you to sin, it's okay.

            Please leave the answers to us. This is a place for answers to questions, not King James-style condemnation. Thank you.

@Douggrey Yes of course! I read and write fiction all the time. We have imaginations to use them! I know it's not exactly the same, but I like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and other movies that involve sci-fi and fantasy. As long as they don't become idols, fantasy books are okay.
