Well I’m just so awkward lol XD
So basically, I was sat in my living room just searching threw WattPad and this amazon van parks out side.
I knew I had a delivery and I’m home alone at the minute so I’m kinda panicking cos...l you know, social interaction. Plus I have a towel wrapped round my dumb head oof. So I get the towel of, try to sort my tangled + wet hair so I don’t look like a freaking idiot, then I make eye contact with the guy as he is walking up to the house.
When he knocks on the door I realise I left my keys up stairs (like the dumb bean I am) so instead of going “one minute!” Or something, I decide to literally bolt up the stairs (which he probably heard) grab my keys and go back down. Which, by the way, only took me like 5 seconds. But as soon as I get to the door, practically flailing the damn keys around trying to find the right one (which, yet again, he probably heard) he just started pushing it through the letter box.
So I’m just stood there, inwardly screaming + crying, watching as he posts it through. And it’s like, I can’t just unlock the door now, right? Cos the thing is half way through, so I just continue to stand there.
To make it worse, the front door has ‘glass’? Which means that the guy could see me just standing there
As soon as the parcel drops to the floor, I literally just drop with it, refusing to move until I heard the van leave, In case the dude saw me again through the window
The thing that makes this all so much worse, is that I literally did the exact same thing yesterday!
Jeez, sorry for the rant! I know you probably don’t care lol, but I guess I just needed to rant to someone (r.i.p me)
