Announcement Regarding the Hiatus of Star Trek: Remnant
Hi guys , first, I want to sincerely apologize for the four months of radio silence. Real life became overwhelming, and I wasn’t able to give updates or work on the story as much as I hoped. I never intended to leave everyone waiting without explanation, and I truly appreciate your patience and support during this time.
With that said, here are the reasons behind the hiatus of Star Trek: Remnant.
The first major reason is school. As a graduating student, my workload has increased, and I’ve had to prioritize my academic responsibilities. Balancing writing with deadlines has been difficult.
I have also been dealing with depression, which has affected my motivation and focus. Alongside this, I struggle with ADHD—still unconfirmed since I haven’t had a check-up since 2020—which makes it easy for me to get distracted and slows down the writing process.
Another factor is that I have not been at home consistently. Starting this December, especially around Christmas Eve, I will be spending time with family, which naturally limits my writing time.
Lastly, there has been constant rewriting. Certain scenes didn’t line up with earlier parts of the story, or I needed to expand on the lore. I want the narrative to feel consistent, so these revisions take extra time.
In conclusion, I will still work on the special chapter (Part 2) during my free time. After releasing Part 2, I will be taking a one- to two-month break to focus on school and plan the next chapter. Once again, thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support.
With that, I will sign off.
Live long and prosper.
