Like cowboys of another era, I spend most of my days by myself, sitting in my digital saddle and roaming the vast landscape of the internet. When I do make it into "town", I find I have a different POV from viewing things as an 'outsider'. Different enough from the 'town folk' that it's only a matter of time before the local 'sherrif' suggest that I place myself (as well as my 'horse and wagon', ) beyond the 'city limits' by the time the sun sets.

One time I didn't.

The next morning, I found myself in a new Village. Nothing is mine - the place I sleep, the clothes I wear, the food I eat, the medical coverage I get, the news I read, the music I listen to...it all is a part of this Village.

In this place, everyone is suppose to be a number; I refused to conform. I know I am more than a number, but can I ever become a free man? Maybe not with my body, but as long as ideas can be passionate, I'll express them in print, here and other places, fighting for the independence of a free mind.
