Great News!
Noo, there isn't an update on the ONC longlist, as far as I know. :')
BUT tonight the NanoWatts 2026 released the longlist and guess what?
Iladon made it further! *add party emojis*
I actually hadn't thought it would (so I wouldn't get disappointed xD), I can't even really fathom it right now. O.o
Let's see if I make it to the shortlist too (or even further?), that would be amazing. xD
Do you want to know what's so good about the story that it passed the third ONC round and the NanoWatts Longlist?

@Phantasyfire Thank you! Yes, they actually said at some point that they want to move the announcements there too, as far as I remember. I'm against this decision as well... BUT there should come a way to make the social feed clearer and categorize or decide what you want to see (or something like that).

@C_the_Dreamer Congratulations!! :D By the way, I too see the announcements only in the social feed. I really hope it's just a bug and not permanent? Or did they already confirm it as an update somewhere? I am pretty glad the social feed is back - I really think it's great for discovering new people/books - and wattpad actually opens for me with the social feed by default. With the reading lists, votes, comments all showing up there as well though, I do feel like moving the announcements to the feed isn't that great of a decision. There's a huge chance of missing someone when they are buried under some less interesting activity from others. After all, there is a reason I follow these people and I am glad to see updates from them in my notifications! :)

OH MY GOD! I actually didn't believe in it, since I halfheartedly "finished" (*cough* cut and just marked it as complete *cough*) the story. xD

30K words reached, over 4K words written today and still not even nearly finished.
I'm still gonna start editing now, publish a few chapters, mark as complete and I'll try to submit with an open end. At least that's the plan. xD
Now I'm Barry Seal: Only in America though, I love that movie! xD

That's how the thirteenth chapter begins and I'm finally finished with editing. ;D
I think I'll need to change a small part though...
(how much of the dream potion she has left/used up)
Then I can start writing again. The chances of me finishing on time are pretty slim, but at least I'm about to reach the 20K milestone. xD
