Calories are responsible for making people gain weight. Even though you are overweight and wish to cut-down on those extra pounds of fat, your body still requires a certain minimum amount of calories. There are many diet plans that encourage people to do away with calories in their diet or consume very little. It may work to help you reduce weight in the short term, but it is not the best method to go about it for lots of reasons. Starving yourself to lose weight may seem easy, but it is important to consider the long-term side effects you will be risking with your body.
