Another idea: Tim sprains his wrist and is in a ton of pain but tries to hide it from everyone including his girlfriend Lucy. Then one day when working with Lucy she can tell that something is wrong with Tim but he won’t tell her. She then founds out that he is hurt because while working together he cries in pain. And Lucy heard him crying.
