So he tries to break up with her but she says no because she knows he's breaking up with her because something is seriously wrong and all she wants is for him to talk things through so she can help him. The only problem is he can't tell her because then he'd be putting her in danger and all that and she's already been through enough trauma to last a lifetime. Plus it kinda revolved around her brother's secret, which wasn't his to tell.

So he does the only thing he can think of to make her leave him and kisses some random girl. She catches him in the act (which is exactly what he wanted ofc) and she's heartbroken so she calls things off. So now she's safe from him and he doesn't have to expose her brother.

So yeah, that's literally the only situation that I actually found cheating justified, which is something I never thought I'd say go be honest.

(P.S. The two actually do end up together, but it does take a couple tries and some time to fix what's been broken.)

@Jexica101 Personally I wouldn't mind giving someone a second chance, but that's only I've known them long enough so I think it was an honest mistake or if I believe they truly deserve it. But I totally don't blame you for not wanting to give them a second chance if they betray your trust, that's totally understandable and quite reasonable on your part

@Jexica101 it really just depends on personality and perspective. I’m the kinda person who doesnt give second chances (at least i think im not. So far the situation hasn’t presented itself). I watch tv shows and read books in which the protagonist gets cheated on/ betrayed and I think about how if I were in that situation I would simply cut them off yk? I just dont wanna waste the time and energy. Others might, and thats fine because everyone who cheats isnt a bad person I just dont wanna take the chance

@Jexica101 Yeah I get what you mean. But I do think that if the girl reacted differently and much more reasonably then the guy probably wouldn't have cheated. But to be fair they were both pretty young and immature so it goes without saying that they were not ready for a relationship whatsoever. And thanks for what you said about my pfp, I love yours too

Hey so I just saw your profile description and wanted to give you a situation in which cheating is actually okay because I'm in a good mood today so why not.

So this scenario actually happened in a show I watched where the guy cheated on the girl to protect her and I already know how this looks but the story is kind of interesting. Also keep in mind that this situation is very, very specific and I doubt it'd actually happen to anyone in real life but I guess it could without all the theatrics of course. It's still very unlikely though. Oh and by the way, this is going to be divided into 2 parts since this is too long to post as one. So anyways back to the story.

Basically the guy was on some drugs and shit and the circumstances were very complicated, but to sum things up he was unwillingly injected and they made him extremely volatile and dangerous. The drugs had long-terms effects that were supposed to be permanent but thankfully they weren't because a cure was eventually found, but that isn't until later on.

So the girl's brother has a talk with him and tells him that he could hurt her. Long story short he realizes the brother's right (especially when he actually does hurt her but it was just a minor injury and she knew it was an accident so she didn't get mad or anything.)
