Hello Everyone...
          
          A bit more than a month ago, I had a break in. My laptop was stolen along with a lot of other things. On my laptop I had the next 12’000 words of Black Guild. It was a very difficult section to write as it involved a complicated fight scene with six people... I had finished writing it and was polishing it to upload. I hadn’t backed it up... I was so depressed over losing it when my laptop was stolen that I couldn’t even face coming on to Wattpad, let alone writing it again. I will write it again though, hopefully even better this time. Hope you are all well, I am back at university and working. I also recently braved the dating game again, and have a new boyfriend. Nevertheless, I will find some time to rewrite that scene somehow.

Hi fellow writers and readers! Thought I would fill you in on my plan of action :)
          
          So right now I’m working on a sequence of scenes that lead up to the first climax of the book that signals the end of Act 1. I want to upload it all at once so when I do get there there’ll be a nice new chunk to read. Right now it’s sitting at 8000 words and I predict I will be writing another 4000 to finish it off. So my apologies for the delay, but I’ve really gotten back into writing groove so I’m sure it won’t take tooooo much longer to get there. 
          
          After this sequence, there will be one more scene, a kind of denouement before Act 2 when things are going to change up quite a bit for Acacia. That scene is probably going to be around 3000 words. Once I get to the end of Act 1, I’m going to put my own writing on the back burner while I hash out details of Act 2 and focus on reading other works on Wattpad :)
          
          I predict that finishing Act 1, polishing and uploading will take me about two weeks because I’ll be fitting it in around work. 
          
          I’m SUPER excited to share it all, writing is turning into a bit of a rollercoaster, and then get back into reading my fellow writers’ work :)

Hi Wattpad! I'm ready for take 2.
          
          I joined during lockdown and made good progress on my book and networking. Then I wrote exams and right afterwards started a new job. In the past month there have also been 2 family dramas, my brother and his wife were attacked in their home and my grandmother was hospitalised with Covid-19 (she is still in hospital but we are hopeful). Amidst all of this I have done a little writing but had no time to keep up with WP.
          
          Previously I was involved in too many read-for-reads which left little time for actual writing. So this time I will be focusing on only 3 stories: Soulbonder, Lights, and Blaze in the Darkness. There are many other stories I was enjoying and I hope to come back to them in the future. My other focus will be making progress on my own book.

Hi guys, I've been slack on Wattpad and with writing this last week. I've had my nose very firmly wedged in Leigh Bardugo's Grishaverse series. If you haven't read them, do so without delay! I will return to the surface after I finish King of Scars.

          Exams are over, thank goodness! My academic year is officially complete and I once again have some time to work hard on my book before the next year starts. I've caught up with friends and family I couldn't see over lockdown, and I'm focussing my time on my book again and excited to finally keep reading your books :)

          I am halfway through my exams now, I've written Physics 3, Anatomy, Chemistry and Physiology. Tomorrow I have my last Physics paper, and as the week progresses I will have 2 practicals and on Friday one more theory paper. 
          
          I am feeling pretty bushed. But through it all I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has commented on my stories, I have seen your comments and the feedback cheered me up considerable!
          
          I do actually have another chapter written which I'm very excited to share with you guys because it includes some awesome new worldbuilding that I got very excited about :D But it's still rough.
          
          So thank you to these guys for the comments, votes, follows, and adding my books to your reading lists, I really hope I got everyone because your support does mean a great deal to me.

          I will probably not be able to update The Black Guild this week due to my exam schedule, but I have added a new poem, 'Shadow Slam' to my collection 'Windows on the Sea'. This poem is dark and could be considered triggering for some people, so viewer discretion advised!

Hi all! So I might be a little bit slower with read-for-reads and responding to comments over these next few weeks. Our university has reopened and we're starting with all the exams we missed during lockdown. Delightful! So I'm under a bit of pressure. I'll still keep going though, just a little bit slower.
