@Cale03henituse And Violan. Hesitating. Once again confused of her position. She wanted to talk to Cale, who was standing off to the side. Watching with a blank, stoic, expression. But was she allowed? And she wanted to comfort Kim Rok Soo too. But all that progress she made was with Cale. Not-no, With…. the one who took over Cale. Not the real Cale.

@Cale03henituse I can imagine Deruth start to swap the dynamic. Treating Cale like he was invisible. Treating Kim Rok Soo like his only son. Maybe he starts to distance himself from Cale, hoping he’d start to forget about him. Hoping this would mean Kim Rok Soo would forgive his favouritism. 
            
            Maybe he even finds it easier? Maybe KRS acted too much like Jour. And now that he practiced with Cale, it’s easier to talk to him. Especially since he doesn’t bare any physical resemblace.
            
            And Cale is. Fine with it. Fine with it. He wasn’t even really his son. Not his real son. Kim Rok Soo deserves the attention.. He wasn’t the one he neglected. Cale wanted Kim Rok Soo to be treated well. At the cost of his attention is fine too. He didn’t care. Not his parents. 
            
            Maybe he should give back his name. He didn’t really deserve that either.
            
            And KRS was so confused. Deruth wasn’t his father anymore. He was… he was Cale’s father. He had given it up…. He had…. It was nice. It felt so nice to have his father hold him. He had forgotten how that felt like. The last time he didn it was….. was…. when he was seven. He was seven years old. His mother had died months ago. He fell asleep at the dining table, waiting for his father. He had gotten exhausted and nodded off right then and there. He thought it was Ron that carried him back to his room, but he remembered it now. It was his father. He was whispering apologies for not making it to dinner. He tucked him in, kissed his forehead and told him he loved him. His father was the one who carried him back to his room. That was the last time he had ever held him. The last time he ever…. let him…. hold him. Or hear him say how he loved him.
            
             He was embarrassed to feel this way. He should stop him. He should stop him holding him. He was grown. But…. Cale wouldn’t be mad at him for this would he? Surely he’d understand how he wanted to be treated like a child. How he had missed this. He missed having a father. He missed his dad. His dad. Dad.

@CaleHenituseIsAGod Oh, his family does definitely notice, but in typical cale fashion he just brushes it off. To me ws is the type who would not do unncessary things just for the sake of it. I don't know, my opinion of him is kind of like muzan to daki or something- he is cruel but with people like cale who is just better to keep close and shower with affection in order to win over their loyalty/trust, ws can be cruel in killing his own subourdinates, but for those like cale he keeps close. If he tortures cale he knows cale will have a higher chance of hating him, so he tries to rectify his image but being especially considerate of him and even pulling back some of his plans just for cale's sake. Cale at his best potential is obviously when he is motivated to survive, yes? So if he makes cale have to survive against him, the target of cale's ire is him. But if he treats cale nicely and gains his trust, then he is hoping to redirect his survival to being with the ws, essentially allying with him rather than going against.
            
            Cale's life is tied to his, so no matter what ws will still have to care about him. Since cale gained a more important role as his life, which is more important than his path since without his life how can he achieve anything, he will grow focus his care on cale. Since cale is also dangerous as he blocks his path, by taking away the threat of cale dying, he can also take away the threat of cale being in his path. Eventually it all sums up to caring solely about cale. He is afterall the only thing blocking him whether by enemy or by his own life :3
            
            Cale cannot kill the ws either, so I'd like to think a possible ending is where they live on forever while everyone dies, forever fated enemies, never gainibg peace or somethijg like that lol
