"Hello, this is your captain speaking. We will shortly encounter some turbulence so please buckle up and enjoy the ride."
This is what I imagine a dear friend of mine might have told me when I decided to write fiction for fun. Now, seven years later, I haven't yet managed to finish a story but the adventures I've been a part of have more than made up for it.
There were epic battles with merpeople, time-stopping quandaries, and much more. Throughout it all, I have been firmly supported by Filigree, a fellow writer, as we tread water academically. Without her, I would have stopped long ago.
Currently, I spend my time writing out backstories and plot lines for a supernatural story in-between the long hours of study that university requires. I also have a penchant for Adobe Photoshop and fully intend to create my own book covers.
If you find the time to read my work, I hope you walk away from it a little more enlightened.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
J. Landis
