Like the sun she shined, bright and bold,
even though her emotions were like wildfire, uncontrolled.
She cried and cried, day after day,
but she just could not keep her emotions at bay.
Then one morning she opened her eyes,
and looked towards the sun hanging in the sky.
Wise words did she hear, something that would shock the poor dear.
For the sun does set, and rain does fall,
But in the end, does it even matter at all?
She looked towards the clouds, puffy and white,
and realized she had to be the everlasting light.
Never let someone measure your worth.
Everyone is unique and no ones opinions matter except your own. <3
