People always say how you have to be ready for the future: Study hard in school so you can get a good job ect. But I don't get it. Why can't it just be about now? Why not just think about now. It makes no sense, we only have one life and we're told for the first half of it to be ready for the future, what would be the point in that?
Our life is now, not just in the future. Sure that's still important but why have now, use that. Don't worry about the future the whole time, make it what you want it to be but in the end what ever happens, happens.
Especially because the only thing that's guaranteed is now, I could die next week and I'll i've done for most of my life is prepare for the future...
So Carpe Diem (Seize the Day)! :D x
