The Shadow Guardian is my first book and it didn't actually  start out as a book. I really just jotted down some thoughts I had about a personal issue that I was finding it hard to grapple with. 

A few months later,  the story just came to me as I lay in bed and every night I just started writing a little bit at a time. I changed a lot of the personal info that I had used in a launching pad and I kept going from there. 

It was all very cathartic for me and, even though I always loved writing, now it's something that frees me in so many ways. With a friend's encouragement I finished it and published it and I hope that every one can take a lesson or inspiration from  "The Shadow Guardian."
