I am currently working on another book called the stalker here is the prolouge!
"i stood in the closet shivering, i could heard his heavy footsteps coming closer to the spot where i was hiding until they stopped right outside the door where i was, i clamped my hand over my mouth to silence my breathing, out of nowhere the long serrated blade of his knife stabbed right through the door mere inches from my face, i reared my body back and thrusted myself at the door, sending it crashing open and sending him falling onto the hard kitchen floor, dropping the knife as he fell, picked it up gripping it tight in my hands, he was not moving, he'd been knocked unconcious from the fall, i could easily escape but something inside me forced me to stay, and finish it, i raised the knife over my head, looming over the top of his motionless body, i drove the blade into the base of his neck, he woke up instantly, thrashing at me to knock me away, but i held my ground, i twisted the knife deeper, until he didn't move, i yanked the knife out, blood spurted all over me drenching me in blood, i took it all in, his warm blood all over me, i savored it, i didnt even try to move, even when his blood stopped squirting, even when the police came and saw me standing there covered head to toe in blood, eventually an officer pulled my hands behind me and cuffed them, and escorted me to his squad car, and threw me into the back, when i sat up straight i turned to look at him, he held a look of disgust, but i could also see the fear, even with these cuffs on, he still didnt feel safe, i winked at him, he slammed the car door into my face.
