Just a little update to reassure any readers that I will be continuing this story until it's done. Just sidetracked with health stuff and a few other projects that had to take over recently.  I'm gearing up for more chapters in the coming weeks.

Love and longing are torn away by shadow. And when she wakes, nothing has changed, only the ache of what might have been.

I just wanted to post a quick update as I know I have been AWOL!  February and March were quite tough on the health front, but I'm slowly getting back to normal now. I just wanted to reassure anyone who has read this far, I have not abandoned the story! I'm aiming to get the next chapter out in the next two weeks.

          Adar has returned to camp. The rebellion is quelled, silence hangs heavy, and his children wait for his command. But something has changed. The name Father no longer fits as it once did, and in the wake of Eleneth’s departure, he hardens himself for what lies ahead.
