I would rant about the book series I just finished (the Once Upon a Broken Heart Trilogy) but when I think about it I feel like crying because I'm starting to realize that I will never be able to read this book series for the first time ever again. So, If you want to read a series that is just so incredible in every way that whenever you try to read some of your old favorite books you'll just read a few pages before throwing them across the room because they just disappoint you now and if you want your mind to be entirely consumed by a series then read it.

          so I finally listened to Warriors, Lin Manuel Miranda's concept album based on a movie called the warriors from the late 70's AND OMG
          HES DONE IT AGAIN
          so I go to much into it but OMG 
          I think that this concept album is truly a triumph because not only does it have Lin Manuel Miranda's signature blend of show tunes and hip hop but it also incorporates numerous other genres, such as salsa, merengue, even K-pop in one instance, not one song resembles another. 
          also, if you're from New York City, this album perfectly caputures the essence of New York, like seriously, so many lyrics are relevant to what life is like in such a vibrant, diverse place. 
          
          anyway he's brilliant, absolutely brilliant, and yeah go listen to Warriors but I recommend looking up the plot cause it can get a little confusing at times but I found it to be straightforward for the most part. also, its not a very faithful adaptation, I've never seen the movie or read the book but I do know that the main gang, the Warriors, is an all female gang an that the main love story is between two women instead of a man and a woman.

          so my copy of Mansfield park got ruined bc I took it out in the rain :(
          so I decided to randomly on impulse just tear of the cover and make a new, hardback cover AND OMG ITS SO GORGEOUS IT ACTUALLY WORKED I CANT BELIVE IT WORKED

okay so 2024 was something.....
          it started off really badly, it was the first year of my life without a dog, and I lost a lot of self confidence, this whole year has been a rollercoaster between the happy and the sad 
          but in the end, this year brought me a lot of happiness, I got my wattpad besties and some great irl friends too, my adorable new dog, and ofc, I read pride and prejudice
          
          Jane Austen is the greatest thing to happen to me this year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, CINDY!! I’m so grateful that I got to meet you this year on leap day OUT OF ALL THE DAYS, so I hope that we will leap ahead into greatness for our futures :))
