I would imagine if Silicon-based were to exist and invade our planet, they wouldn't eat us, since we run hot and move fast, but rather eat our buildings. Even then, Silicon Oxidizes, so it wouldn't even be able to sustain life let alone inside our planet, where it's atmosphere has plenty of oxygen to go around.
