First of all, I want to thank @DragonsAndDragons for actually reminding me. I've had a rough two weeks so please bear with me. Once again, disclaimer, this riddle is not mine. Well, without further ado, here's this week's mystery:
A detective (let's go with the name Charles) is looking for his friend Anthony. One day, he gets a lead. It leads him (pun unintended) to some underground bunker of some sort. After walking through a long corridor, he comes across a wooden door. He grasps the handle and turns it. It's unlocked. He pushes the door open and discovers a room without any floor. All there is is a gaping hole and at the bottom resides the cold dead body of his friend. After a few seconds of contemplation, he declares: "It's a murder."
How does our dear darling Detective Charles know that?
Again, don't Google, Bing, Yahoo! or Explorer (does anyone even use this anymore?) the riddle. Try to find it on your own (I'm not even sure you'd find this riddle considering it got told to me in French with different names and just different wording altogether [for the record, that is not a challenge]). When you do have the answer text it in private. Have a good week! (I also finally got rid of my years long writers block so hopefully I'll have posted something before classes start back again, no promises though)
