My picture is black&white! Am I a good enough author yet?!

I've always wanted to write a book but I believe I've never had any adequate ideas that weren't cliche.
So I think i'm finally hunkering down and writing something cliche anyways.

Truth be told i'm not much of a writer, and i'm excruciatingly picky with what I read. But my best friend @MagenABC (who literally sits and  reads 24/7) inspired me to at least try to write something. She helped come up with a general story line for my book and I'm the one putting the words down on the paper. I would appreciate it if anyone took a look and left some feedback on my writing. (:
