Just a progress update on An Anon's Journey to say that Volume 5 Episodes 1-2-3 are finished and waiting for final revision once V5 wraps up and that E4 is in the beginning stages of writing. All of V5 is mapped out and I've begun brainstorming and outlining V6.

The final Apocrypha of V4 is done and dusted! Now I just have to write my way around possibly the slowest volume in RWBY with some of the more contentious writing in the series, to put it mildly.

          for like a month, and then I'm back in class.

          All jokes aside, I actually have free time now to recuperate and write. the last Apocrypha before V5 proper should come out, at least, by the end of my vacation. It's amazing how unmotivated one becomes when they have to wake up at 4:30 in the morning and then do an eight-ish hour shift with a one-and-a-half hour total of commuting time, not counting traffic.
          
          How truly fucking amazing.

          I apologize for the gaps in the schedules of one per day, I'm currently in an exam season at my trade school and it completely slipped my mind on more than open occasion.
          In any case, there are two more Apocryphas in the works, one of them just needs final editing before sending it. once that's done, V5 will be in the works.

Rooster Teeth is dead. And I, for one, am not surprised
          . 
          To be completely honest, I knew this would happen eventually, what with Warner Brothers's (Rooster Teeth's parent company) previous waves of layoffs and cutting off of unprofitable ventures back in the 2020s. That and Rooster Teeth's general lowering of the qualities of their shows did not help at all. (The RWBY X DC crossover was a dead giveaway that things were NOT going well. Crossovers are generally attempts to generate either Hype or Engagement, neither of which happened on that project.)
          
          Volume 9 did not do well (By WB standards, a MASSIVE company), and neither did The RWBY X DC crossover or Red VS Blue's most recent season. The less said about Gen: Lock, the better. With that many failures, it's not a shock that Warner was going to, At best, fold RT into Warner's animation studios or, at worst and what seems to be what's actually happening, completely shut down the whole circus.
          
          Now, what does this mean for RWBY, RvB and G:L?
          
          That's gonna depend.
          
          As long as Rooster Teeth does not write off these shows as a Tax Loss, the IPs can be used again, whether for Reboots, sequels, etc. (It's all legal nonsense, it's the same reason why shows like MEGAS XLR can't be rebooted or continued, it now belongs to the government and we all know they are not interested in making cartoons.) It doesn't seem like that's going to happen, so fingers crossed.
          
          Now... What about fanfics...
          
          I actually think it's gonna be fine, Fanfics are, after all, fan and community-driven projects, so as long as fans exist, there will be content.
          
          As for me, Anon's Journey (and RWBY Rewritten before it) was just my attempt at fixing a story I've grown discontent with. If anything, I'm going to go even more off-piste than I already was. Any plans RT could have had in mind will not matter for my story. I will finish it but I'll probably end up remaking it with brand new characters.

V4 is done! 
          All that's left is to go back and double-check errors and maybe change some things to give more clarity.

Hello again.
          A little announcement in regards to the progress of V4, and it's encouraging.
          I'm currently in the process of writing the Volume Finale with only one Apocrypha chapter, possibly two (The outline is massive and covers a lot of stuff, so I might have to split it into two, maybe three chapters so it's readable.).
          Regarding my previous post, the outline for V5 including Apocryphas is completed with a little room for possible embellishment. 
          the outline for V6 is non-existent but I'll focus on finishing V4 and probably will start midway through V5.
          Finally, and more importantly, expect V4 to drop early next month.

Why hello there.
          Sorry for the radio silence, I've been busy with real life and my usual shtick of not saying anything unless I've got something to announce. I'll try to be concise so please, bear with me.
          First things first, I've finished about half of the Volume 4 portion of Betrayal at Haven. I'm currently taking a small break from writing it to create the outline of Volume 5, as I've been slacking on doing so. It might take a bit more time than usual to release the whole volume.
          Second, I'm taking a professional degree course and have done so since October, so it might also impede my motivation to write during the week since I typically come home pretty tired. so I'll try to pick up the pace during weekends.
          All this to say that I'm still writing and not to worry too too much. I like the story and for once, I actually want to finish it. it's just a big project that's going to take time and I don't want to give anyone low-quality slop.
          Just mid-to-good quality slop.
