100k on my Marvel fic! You guyss! Thank you so much 

Hey guys! Thanks so much for the wait on new chapters for House of the Rising Sun. With the holidays coming up, updates will be slower than usual and I’m currently waiting on some stunning new artwork I have commissioned from a very talented graphics artist, which I’m very excited to share with you all when it is ready! As I’ve mentioned, I plan to end book one between chapters 60-70, but I do plan for HOTRS to have two sequels! 
          I think after I finish book one I will probably work on my Star Wars story for awhile, just for a change of scenery — as I’ve been working on my MCU universe for the guts of about 3-4+ years now.

          Chapter 46 is up now! 
          I also want to ask everyone’s opinions for chapter 47. 
          As we know from the end of the last chapter, James & Steve went out to do a bit of secret Christmas shopping.
          I have already written a decent chunk of the next chapter — Bucky & Steve’s POV of that shopping trip — so my question is, is that plot-line that you would like to see? Is it something we would find cringe/ unnecessary? Would you like to get back to the action? Or are you enjoying the fluffier moments between the chaos?

Announcement & Somewhat Life Update  
          Hey guys. Just a quick one. There will be a new chapter either tonight or tomorrow, however it might be the last chapter out until mid-August.
          
          My husband and I are going wild camping in the Scottish highlands for a week starting on Sunday so we will be super busy daily & a lot of our locations won’t have any internet service.
          
          That said, I will return with so much inspiration as House of the Rising comes to an end and we begin book two, which will be very much set in a fantasy world, shaped by the incredible landscapes in the remote areas of Ireland & Scotland!
          
          Much like my beloved OC Nadia, I share a longing for that feeling of ‘home.’ My mother is Irish, but my dad is born and bred in the highlands of Scotland. They have now long since separated, and I grew up in Ireland with my mum, where my dad has also stayed to be close to me, but he has instilled a love for Scotland in me that I cannot wait to explore. I haven’t been to many places in Scotland — other than the major cities once or twice, or to visit my family in their tiny village — since I was a child, so I am bursting at the seams to hike and explore every square inch and to be immersed in the culture of my families heritage, especially with my new husband accompanying me on our trip  
          
          Silent recognition for Husband Capt.Redhead, who’s brilliant brain and VAST knowledge of the MCU have helped me shape this story into what it is now - and where it is yet to go. Ladies! Do not settle until you find a man that helps you write your fanfictions
