Hey... I somehow came across your profile and I just wanted to say that I think it's great! It's weird how that happened now because it's only been a few days since I've learned that my daughter's kindergarten friend was recently diagnosed with cancer. At 3 years old. And that just breaks my heart. The thing is, I am a pediatric nurse and work in a children's hospice so a case like that is not new to me. But it's a totally different thing when it's so close to home. So I hope this here turns into a place where people can share their stories if they feel the need to and find people who are in a similar situation. 

My aunt was diagnosed 2 days ago with cancer for the second time

This january my mom had surgery and tgey removed a tumor from her spine. A few weeks later we found out it was cancerous. She had been in the hospital for a few weeks and had suffered nerve damage. She still is numb in some places. After it came back as cancer they tested her spinal fluid and it came back negative. Im sooo glad my mom is okay now but i feel like it shoukd be shared. I loke the idea of this profile and support it.

Not to brag about it or anything....but thanks for creating this #careforcancer movement because this is something that's very close to my heart because my mum has been there and she has battled with this disease and I know how it feels.....and no one's family member should go through it...... that's all I can say about it.... Thanks again!
